FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to biotransformation of organic compounds, particularly to production of 3-O-glycosylcolchicine compounds. The method involves use of Bacillus megaterium. 3-O-glycosylcolchicine compounds with formula I are obtained from precursor compounds, where Ri is OH or methoxy, through fractional feeding of a culture medium combined with a carbon or nitrogen source (glucose and peptone). To stimulate the glycosyl enzyme system, demethylated colchicines are used, particularly 3-O-demethylcolchine or 3-O-demethylthiocolchine. Chosen parameters for implementing the method: demethylated colchine additives, 25-35°C temperature, pH 4-8. Aeration of 1-2 l/l'min increases conversion of compounds up to 80-100% with increase in output of the end product and rate of the process as a whole.
EFFECT: increased conversion of compounds with increase in output of the end product and rate of the process as a whole.
