FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for manufacturing of aerospace components. It is appropriate for heat processing α-β-titanium alloy, characterised by improved forgeability at high levels of strength in comparison with existing on market alloys of types Ti-17, allows following composition, wt %: 3.2-4.2 Al, 1.7-2.3 Sn, 2-2.6 Zr, 2.9-3.5 Cr, 2.3-2.9 Mo, 2-2.6 V, 0.25-0.75 Fe, 0.01-0.8 Si, till 0.21 of oxigen, Ti and unintentional impurity - the rest. Alloy has forgeability, characterised by contraction ratio more than 20%, double shear resistance, equal to 7733 kg/cm2 (110 ksi) and tensile strength from 13709 kg/cm2 (195 ksi) till 15115 kg/cm2 (215 ksi).
EFFECT: providing of forgeability, double shear resistance and tensile strength of alloy.
