FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary engines designed to operate with compressible fluid media. The proposed rotary engine comprises the first rotor fitted to run relative to the first shaft and housing with its surface comprising at least a part of the first rotor. There is an elongated variable-cross-section chamber arranged between the first rotor surface and the housing surface. The engine comprises also several second rotors running about appropriate second shaft. Each of the second rotors extends through the housing surface to interact with the first rotor surface separating the aforesaid chamber into adjacent operating parts. At least one of the said operating parts has a closed space wherein the engine cycle one part runs. With the first rotor and second rotors revolving, the volumes of the aforesaid working parts vary. Every second rotor has several extending parts with radii varying relative to the appropriate second shaft so that every aforesaid extending part passes through the housing into the space for different amounts to interact with the first rotor surface.
EFFECT: safe, reliable and tight contact between working members of rotary engine.
