FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to rail and other types of transportation. A roller bearing comprises one or two rows of rollers taking radial load and a ball bearing taking axial load which is mounted so that to provide for its self-adjustment in respect to the roller bearing rotation axis. A bearing with arched race profile is used as the ball bearing. Contact angle in the ball bearing is equal to:
where f - coefficient of sliding friction; z - quantity of balls in the ball bearing.
EFFECT: bearing design simplification and increase of its work efficiency.
