FIELD: mechanical engineering, gas distribution.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrogen power engineering, hydrogen accumulation, storage and release for use in vehicles and stationary power installations. A capillary bundle in the hydrogen accumulator is made as a monolith from capillaries of greater radius, capillaries of smaller radius are placed in the gaps between those of greater radius. The monolith end face surface is covered by a diffuser made from glass with the addition of 0.5-0.7% wt of Fe2O3 or NiO oxide, the capillaries end faces on the opposite monolith side are hermetically closed by glass caps. The greater capillary radius is related to the smaller one as 2.5:1. Capillaries are made from magnesiumaluminosilicate glass with the following composition: SiO2 - 58-60% wt; Al2O3 - 23.5-25.5%; CaO+MgO - 14-17%; other components - 2% or from borosilicate glass with the following composition: SiO2 - 72% wt; B2O3 - 25%; Al2O3 - 1%; LiO2 - 0.5%; Na2O - 0.5%; K2O - 1%.
EFFECT: simplification of the hydrogen accumulator design, increase of hydrogen relative weight content, provides for multiple use of the accumulator along with its high reliability and service life.
