SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means of accumulation, storage and supply of gases, in particular to the accumulation and storage of hydrogen, using hydrogen as fuel, in particular, for vehicles. Method of hydrogen accumulation, storage and supply to the power installation implies filling a cartridge with hydrogen due to the diffusion through the walls. Hydrogen escaping from the cartridge is collected and accumulated in an economiser made as a vessel of porous material, for example, La, Ni or Ti that can adsorb hydrogen producing hydrides, afterwards it is reextracted and supplied to the power installation. Fuel compartment comprises at least one sealed cell for collecting hydrogen from the cartridge with board hydrogen stock, an activator of collecting hydrogen from the cartridge, an economiser made as a vessel of porous material, for example, La, Ni or Ti that can adsorb hydrogen producing hydrides, power supply unit and economiser activation system control unit, power supply unit and control unit for cartridges activation system and cut-off valves.
EFFECT: provision for fast speed of gaseous hydrogen escaping from accumulators based on the hydrogen diffusion through the microcontainer walls and reducing or preventing hydrogen losses.
