FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention suggested relates to radiolocation and instrument engineering, in particular, to laser Doppler signal processing devices, and may be used to measure parameters of fluid turbulent flow. Advantages of the method are most evident, when filter response shall be changed to provide for consistency and stability of the tracking filter operation under varying signal-to-noise ratio and flow velocity fluctuation conditions. The method implies generating two complementary synchronous measurement data streams. For this purpose two signals are simultaneously generated from Doppler input signal complex envelope: discrete signal for controlling complex reference generator frequency and discrete signal of span reciprocal values, which is later added to discrete control signal of the previous unit pulse.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurement of fluid velocity turbulent fluctuations in case of varying concentration of microparticles in the flow and varying tracking speed.
