FIELD: food products.
SUBSTANCE: sausage product casing net consists of at least three lengthwise strings and cross-links connecting every pair of adjacent strings and arranged regularly after a spacing specified. The lengthwise loop-structured strings are warp-knitted with the cross-links consisting of one, two or three single thread(s) the string loopy structure is composed of. Each string contains a weft thread included in the warp-knitting chain along the whole of the string length. At a cross-link formation location the weft thread forms two knitted fastening loops connected to the adjacent strings both sides of the one referred to with cross-link threads. Cross-link threads of each lengthwise string, having become entwined with an adjoining string, become involved in formation of the latter's loop structures and rejoin the "mother" string at the next cross-link formation location. The net proposed is attached onto the sausage product casing surface (glue-attachment being one of the alternative solutions). The sausage product is enclosed in a casing with the net proposed applied onto the latter's surface.
EFFECT: enhanced strength properties combined with material intensity reduction.
