FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: spent casting molds or rods are destroyed. Refractory particles produced as a result of destruction are mixed with 0.1-3 wt % of pozzolanic admixture particles, and thermal treatment of mixture is carried out at the temperature from 450 to 900°C. Puzzolanic admixture used is volcanic ash, pulverised fuel ashes, fly ash, crushed granulated blast-furnace slag, condensed fine siliceous dust, amorphous silicon dioxide and calcined bauxite.

EFFECT: improvement of regeneration moulding sand properties.
