FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns amylum and dextrose industry and is intended for separation of starch suspension from pulp of mashed potatoes or corn. Device includes case with filtrate and sediment collectors, rotor with filtering blades mounted in the case, and device feeding suspension onto the blades. Each blade has device for regulation of sediment flow over filtering surface, including plates overlapping blade width and mounted on rotor with adjustable clearance against filtering surface. A cap barring suspension flow from air flows inside rotor can be mounted over the plates of each blade.
EFFECT: improved quality of obtained product due to enhanced separation efficiency.
