FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for processing catalytically cracked naphtha containing dienes, mercaptanes and other organic compounds of sulphur. The method implies the following stages: (a) fluid catalytically cracked naphtha mixed with hydrogen is split into at least three fractions, which include light cracked naphtha, middle cracked naphtha and heavy cracked naphtha; (b) light cracked naphtha is treated in the presence of thioesterification catalyst, mercaptanes reacting with part of dienes present in naphtha, which results in sulphide formation; and (c) middle cracked naphtha is treated, part of dienes present in naphtha being hydrogenated. Invention also includes other methods for catalytically cracked naphtha processing.
EFFECT: possibility of sulphur removal from light naphtha flow fraction with no significant loss of valuable light olefines.
