FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing tert-amylmethyl ether via interaction of isoamylenes, contained in products of light naphtha cracking, with methanol. Two reaction distillation zones are disposed above stripping section, wherein unreacted tert-amylmethyl ether, C6 and higher components are stripped. First distillation reaction zone contains hydrofining catalyst to remove diolefins and mercaptans, while the second one contains acid cation-exchange for etherification reaction.
