FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: catalytically cracked gasoline-ligroin fraction is processed in first reaction-distillation column wherein diolefins and mercaptans react in presence of group VIII metal catalyst and hydrogen to form sulfur-containing products and heavier bottom gasoline-ligroin fraction. Bottom fraction and hydrogen are routed to second reaction-distillation column wherein sulfur-containing compounds contact with hydrogen in presence of hydrodesulfurization catalyst in rectification section. Second bottom fraction and hydrogen are routed to third reaction-distillation column wherein sulfides contact with hydrodesulfurization catalyst in presence of hydrogen to convert a part of sulfides into hydrogen sulfide. The thus obtained gasoline-ligroin fraction id fractioned to remove hydrogen sulfide, which is withdrawn as main distillate, while heavy gasoline-ligroin fraction is recovered as bottom fraction.
EFFECT: simplified technology.
