FIELD: metallurgy, namely manufacture of articles on base of metallic or intermetallic compound matrix reinforced with strengthening refractory fillers.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making blank in the form of three-dimensional rigid framework formed of monocrystal lamellae, namely of oxide, carbide, silicide or boride lamellae mutually joined by means of binder and placed in such a way that to repeat configuration of ready article; drying blank and subjecting it to heat treatment; then impregnating blank with melt of matrix-forming metal selected from group containing nickel, iron, titanium, aluminum, magnesium, tin, copper or zinc or their alloys.
EFFECT: possibility for making complex- configuration articles with high strength and
refractoriness due to distribution of reinforcing filler according to operation condition of articles.
