FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: current invention relates to products of the type of non-woven fabric, and particularly to the method of manufacturing abrasive non-woven fabric, and also fabric obtained in this way. Technical result is achieved by the method of manufacturing abrasive non-woven fabric, which includes forming from fibres of non-woven material, having at least the first layer, adjacent to the first surface of the given material and containing at least 5% (wt) of the thermoplastic fibres. Then this material is structured in such a way, that the first-mentioned surface forms a relief from the raised and lowered zones. Further thermal processing of the mentioned material is carried out, enough to cause changes in the physical structure to at least part of the thermoplastic fibres. Therefore this processing gives abrasive properties, at least to the raised zones of the first surface.
EFFECT: creation of a method of manufacturing abrasive non-woven fabric, which would provide a regulated degree of abrasiveness of non-woven fabric using fibres of a small quantity while conserving a high degree of flexibility of the fabric.
