FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and power engineering and can be used for activation of chemical reactions and processes or can serve as a hydrodynamic-type water heater. The proposed hydrodynamic generator incorporates a cylindrical casing accommodating an action and reaction turbines with opposite direction of rotation about common vertical axis, and inlet and outlet branch pipes. The said inlet branch pipe is an internal member of the action turbine and is furnished with radial through slots. The action turbine incorporates a blading making an external member of the reaction turbine, working chambers communicating, via swirlers representing confusers, with the aforesaid branch pipe. The confusers' wider parts face the said inlet branch pipe in the plane of its radial slots. Axial zones of the working chambers are interconnected. Note that the reaction turbine represents a Segner wheel with a cup-like casing, its wall being furnished with radial through slots and its bottom being provided with, at least, one journal. The aforesaid cup-like casing space communicates with skewed-end nozzles that can communicate cycle-by-cycle with the working chambers via channels tangential to the working chamber inner surfaces and arranged in the action turbine body opposite the reaction turbine casing slots.
EFFECT: higher reliability and decreased moment of inertia of reaction turbine.
