FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: multifunctional hydromechanical thermal power plant comprises a source of water, ensuring head sufficient to generate thermal energy, with which a vortex heat generator is connected. The vortex generator rotor is made with availability of a cylindrical cavity, having inlet tangential and radial output holes, the inlet nozzle of the heat generator is arranged coaxially with inlet tangential holes of the rotor, and output nozzles combined in a header are arranged near outlet radial holes of the rotor, the inlet nozzle of the heat generator is connected to the outlet nozzle of an additionally installed hydraulic turbine, the inlet nozzle of which is connected to the discharge nozzle of the additionally installed water-lifting device.
EFFECT: arrangement simplifies design of the thermal power plant, improves maintenance convenience.
