FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for prediction of the clinical course of ischemic heart disease. Substance of the method consists in measuring simultaneously pre- and post-therapeutic blood serum apolipoprotein A-1 (Apo A-1), total cholesterol and modified lipoproteins LP(a) by means of additional treatment of blood serum 0.5 ml by 0.1% Triton X-100 0.1 ml solution, incubation for 15 min at 20°C; the mixture is shaken for 120 times a minute, incubated in Sudan B for 1 hour in a dark thermostat at 40°C and then the sample is introduced into a well with agarose gel at a base area of 4×20 mm for electrophoresis; electrophoregrams are recorded; and a drying cycle and a densitometry follow. If observing reducing LP (a) by 30% and more, cholesterol by 18% and more and increasing Apo A-1 by 25% and more as compared to an initial level, the clinical course of ischemic heart disease is predicted to be favourable and promoting an exertional angina transition from functional class III-IV into functional class I-II. If observing a decrease of LP (a) by 30%, total cholesterol by less than 18% and an increase of Apo A-1 by less than 25% as compared to the initial value, the prognosis is considered to be unfavourable.
EFFECT: using the declared method enables providing higher sensitivity and accuracy of predicting the clinical course of ischemic heart disease.
