FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to electrical engineering and can be used for mechanical testing of rotors of magneto-electric machines. The rotor mechanical test installation (3) consists of rotation supports (2), meant for shaft installation with rotor (3), cylindrical ring (5), made from electrical steel plates, actuator (6) of rotor (3) and control and measuring instruments. According to the invention, rotor (3) is enclosed in cylindrical cup (4) rigidly joined to it, forming a parallel clearance. Cylindrical ring (5), encircling the rotor and cylindrical cup (4) on its whole length, is fixed to the inner cylindrical surface of immovable case (1). Inside immovable case (1), cylindrical ring (5) and cylindrical cup (4), there are axial radial through-holes (7), for letting in control and measuring instruments. Immovable case (1) provides for efficient accumulation and storage of heat energy in cylindrical ring (5), sufficient for heating the rotor during tests without use of an extra external source of energy. Cylindrical cup (4) protects structural elements of the rotor from destruction in case of overloading.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of testing mechanical properties of the rotor with simultaneous reduction of energy consumption.
