FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: at the first of measurements frequency of the first light guide flickering is continuously increased with the rate of 1 Hz/s, frequency of the second light guide flickering is continuously reduced with the same rate until person under test subjectively defines difference between presented frequencies. At the second stage frequency of the first light guide flickering is serially reduced and increased with continuous rate of 0.25 Hz/s, frequency of the second light guide flickering is serially increased and reduced with the same rate until person under test defines threshold of presented frequencies distinction. Pass band of visual system neuron receptive fields is defined as threshold value fixed at the second stage of measurements.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to define pass band of visual system neuron receptive fields by presentation of light flickering to person under test with application of two light guides.
