FIELD: transport, fire appliances.
SUBSTANCE: discharge valve device is incorporated in fire appliances with independent spraying of fluid fire-fighting substance contained in pressurised tank. The proposed locking trigger unit comprises a central hollow rod furnished with tapered head with the valve communicating the tank inlet and outlet to pressurise the said fluid fire-fighting substance in the tank. There is a spring-loaded piston interacting with the discharge mechanism. The proposed invention differs in that the valve represents an axial gate arranged in the hollow rod tapered head with its opposite end representing a cage receiving shut-off balls resting upon aforesaid spring-loaded piston in the housing radial groove. The housing has outlet race, inclined backwards, equidistant to the piston tapered crosspiece with its rod that form an annular gap relative to the housing to house the balls. The aforesaid valve directly interacts with the discharge mechanism pusher. Note that the housing end face accommodates a damping stop.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher reliability, simpler design.
