FIELD: fire-fighting means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, namely to a shut-off-start device installed in automatic systems of gas fire extinguishing and gas mains for outlet of gas fire-extinguishing substance stored in a tank under pressure. Shut-off-start device of the gas fire extinguishing installation includes a housing, a piston, a piston spring, a washer, a bolt, sealing gasket, piston-housing pair sealing element, seat, needle solenoid start-up valve, spring-loaded inside the check valve, ball, spring of the check valve, inlet hole with external threaded connection, outlet hole, connected to it nozzle, atmospheric channels, gas fire-extinguishing substance supply channel into the first working cavity, gas fire-extinguishing substance discharge channel from the first working cavity into the atmosphere, pressure gauge, channel for supply of gaseous fire-extinguishing substance to pressure gauge, wherein shut-off-start device additionally comprises second, third and fourth working cavities, housing consists of two halves fixed by a bolted connection, and is connected by a threaded connection to the thrust cover, wherein two halves of housing is isolated from each other by rubber reinforced membrane connected with piston, located between first and second working cavities, wherein the shut-off-start device includes a T-shaped rod connected to the piston, on which the T-shaped rod spring is located, the manual drive handle is attached to the T-shaped rod by a pin with a cotter pin, the first working cavity is connected to the manual pressure relief check valve, the second and third working cavities are connected to the atmospheric channels, respectively, the fourth working cavity is located in the piston, wherein shutoff-start device comprises packs of metal adjusting rings and pressure release needle solenoid valve.

EFFECT: creation of reliable, high-efficiency, multifunctional, reusable and easy-to-operate shut-off-start device (hereinafter – SOSD) with long service life till overhaul.
