FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of unit of preliminary forming in kind of hopper equipped with solid pusher in form of puncheon and screw feeder with slide gate and of unit of final forming equipped with rollers. The unit of final forming is equipped with removable guides with preset shape of working surface; axes of rollers of the unit are arranged in horizontal plane; also a spring element with preset physical-mechanical characteristics is installed in between-rollers space. Rollers are made idle or driven with regulated speed of rotation. Surfaces of rollers form a gauge the profile of which corresponds to the shape of cross section of the fabricated briquette. Also the hopper of the preliminary forming unit is made as a container for pressing with form of the cross section of interior cavity corresponding to the shape of the gauge; it is secured vertically on the bed plate of the final forming unit and is equipped with at least one additional screw feeder with the slide gate.
