FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to devices for processing ozone air with a mixture of granular material in a suspended layer and can be used in chemical, petrochemical, oil-refining and other industries during primary and secondary processing of polymers and rubber and other granular materials. The ozone generator has a dielectric pipe, metallic electrode, internal electrode in form of a hollow cylinder, made from wire netting, and a high-voltage source, coaxially fitted without a gap along the inner surface of the dielectric pipe, and a system for supplying air into the dielectric pipe. The dielectric pipe is cone shaped, fitted vertically with the small diameter down and is closed by a screen made from dielectric material. A central electrode, with needles made from conductive material fitted on its lateral surface, is fitted axially symmetric with the pipe. The length of the needles increases in the direction of motion of the air stream.
EFFECT: increased concentration of ozone and possibility of using it a device for processing granular material in a suspended layer using an ozone air stream.
