FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for application of cobalt and chromium on parts out of nickel alloys consists in charging cobalt, chromium and source of halogenides, in heating and simultaneous diffusive saturation of part surface with cobalt and chromium in gas medium generated at interaction of halogenide source with cobalt and chromium. Salt of cobalt chloride CoCl2 is used as a source of halogenides. In total amount of charged components there is contained in wt %: salt of cobalt chloride COCl2 0.5-20 and cobalt plus chromium from 80 to 99.5 at ratio of cobalt and chromium wt %: cobalt 10-80 and chromium 20-90.
EFFECT: production of coating for protection from high temperature oxidation and corrosion of parts operating in corrosive medium and at higher temperatures; reduced duration of procedure at simultaneous upgraded quality and raised service life of coating; reduced harmful effect to environment.
