FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, mining, machine building and other industries, namely, to plain bearings. The proposed spherical plain bearing consists of a metal housing representing a sleeve with inner spherical surface race and, at least, one bushing made up of anti-friction layer arranged on a steel substrate riveted in place onto the bearing element. Note that the said bearing element represents a metal housing or a spherical-surface inner race. The invention comprises also the method of producing the aforesaid spherical plain bearing. The method of producing the aforesaid bearing bushing comprises producing the bearing steel case representing, mainly, a sleeve, and a spherical-surface inner race. The bushing is produced by applying and fixing anti-friction material onto the steel substrate, shaping the said substrate to required sizes and fixing it on the bushing case by electric rivets via the through holes.
EFFECT: motor-axial plain bearing bushings that feature increased heat removal from friction area and high durability.
