FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, locomotive production and other industrial branches, peculiarly, to locomotive traction engine bearing and other plain bearings. The proposed plain bearing bushing consists of a steel case with, at least, one bimetallic strip fitted thereon and representing an anti-friction material layer arranged on the steel substrate. The aforesaid substrate is riveted on to the bushing case. The method of producing the aforesaid bearing bushing comprises producing the bearing steel case, at least, one bimetallic strip by applying and fixing anti-friction material onto the steel substrate, shaping the said substrate to required sizes and fixing it on the bushing case by electric rivets via the through holes.
EFFECT: motor-axial plain bearing bushings that feature increased heat removal from friction area and high durability.
