FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: epileptic attack is observed. Compulsive head rotation accompanying attack as tonic contraction of neck muscles indicates tumour of mediobasal part of temporal lobe. Herewith head rotation in the beginning of an attack show initial growth of tumour in mediobasal part of temporal lobe, while head rotation at the end of attack indicate tumour extension to temporal lobe height. Head rotation during attack to the right is evident of tumour localisation within left temporal lobe, and head rotation to the left indicates tumour within right temporal lobe.
EFFECT: method extends range of facilities to detect tumour localisation within temporal lobe.
