FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology. Electroencephalographic examination (EEG) is performed. Complex analysis of clinical-diagnostic examination, namely of frequency of epileptic attacks, frequency of electric paroxysmal activity, index of alpha-rhythm, expression of diffuse EEG disturbances in brain areas, is carried out. Results of analysis are used to diagnose one of three degrees of epilepsy severity.
EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for estimation of severity degree of epilepsy, complicated by organic encephalopathy.
