FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: dermatome contains the case, transmission drive, removable cutting disk, protective element for cutting disk and chip thickness control unit provided with scale and ring. Transmission includes output spindle. The ring is mounted on the case, rotatable and interacting with retainer. Cutting disk is mounted on output spindle. The protective element is attached to the case through support arm designed as a part of truncated cone with greater base directed towards cutting disk and arranged between cutting disk and drive. The ring rests on thread and is provided with thumb radius cavities along the whole surface generator. Scale elements are marked between radius cavities. The retainer is arranged between the support arm and cutting disk and provided with spring-loaded roller. Its radius exceeds arch deflection of each radius cavity.

EFFECT: simple and easy to use, reduced operating time ensured by fast dermatome adjustment to required dimensions.
