SUBSTANCE: life-saving apparatus includes a descending device and a descending aid with automatic centrifugal and friction brakes. The descending device is a belt of a vertical conveyor installed along the height of a building. The descending aid is a number of horizontal platforms with railings located through the height of the vertical conveyor belt in a manner uneven to the stories of the building. The centrifugal and friction brakes are generally connected with the lower shaft of the vertical conveyor belt.
EFFECT: multiple and permanent use for a large number of people.
