FIELD: transportation; rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises an alighting device, fitted on a tall building. The alighting device is in form of a vertical frame on doorways of a building on floors, in which horizontal reed valves are hinged opposite the doorways. The valves have spring-type and pneumatic shock absorbers. The inner surface of the frame on the side of the valves is elastic, soft and slippery.
EFFECT: multiple use with any number of floors of a tall building.
