FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: in machine for application of polymer protective coating on pipeline internal surface, auger is installed in nozzle arranged in the form of cylinder with heaters located on its external surface. Head, which is rigidly fixed to cylinder by means of thread, comprises body with heater and mandrel, which form together conical narrowing channel with thin annular slot at the outlet section. Heaters on cylinder and head are arranged in the form of electric heaters of ohmic resistance. Machine design makes it possible to realize process of coating application by thermoplastic melt, which excludes drying stage in case of varnish-and-paint coating, and also reduces losses of protective material. Besides, width of molding annular channel is directly connected to thickness of applied coating, therefore, there is possibility to apply coating of larger thickness in single stage of machine operation.

EFFECT: possibility to apply coatings by means of polymer melt, lower metal intensity and simplification of machine design.
