SUBSTANCE: cutting bit consists of a holder having a slot with a support and a thrust surfaces for the cutter plate insertion and a clamp represented by an L-shaped rod with a clamping pad whose projecting edge fits in the holder groove. The cutting bit is equipped with a retainer embedded in the clamp projecting edge that interacts with the groove on the cutter plate lower surface with a hole arranged on the holder slot thrust surface wherein the clamp retainer is fitted. The cutter plate groove may be executed as mating the profile of the retainer surface it is conjugated with.

EFFECT: improved reliability of the cutter plate fixation.
