FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: machine tool comprises two horizontally-positioned coaxial spindles with cutter tools, two electric drives of the above spindles and a mechanism enabling rotation and regular feed of blanks. The machine tool is equipped with a duplex module of blank rotation and regular feed comprising two slides mounted onto aerostatic, rolling contact type of friction bearings. Each slide is equipped with a rotor to provide for holding and fixation of any shape blank by its middle part.
EFFECT: improved treatment quality; enhanced performance; minimisation of process expenditures; extension of functional capabilities.
