FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method concerns obtaining of metals with obtaining of hard carbonaceous restorative and provides extraction of metals from ores, concentrates and semiproduct. In open reactor it is located layer of reduced substance on top of carbonaceous restorative layer, burned hydrocarbon fuel, it is implemented oxidation of carbonaceous restorative with obtaining of carbonic oxide and hydrogen, metal reduction from reduced substance in hydrogen and carbon monoxide is removed below reaction zone. Carbonaceous restorative is oxidised by hot combustion materials of hydrocarbon fuel -by carbon dioxide and water, which are passed through layer of carbonaceous restorative top-down with providing of keeping of received hydrogen in layer of reduced substance.
EFFECT: improved productivity at the expense of volume gain of reduced substance in consideration of keeping and recoverable hydrogen in open reactor.
