FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology for repair of railway rolling stock and may be used in repair enterprises for restorative repair of carriage trolley frames, having cracks in cross bars. Technological window is cut out in trolley frame with crack removal, application of cover plate and making welding seam along cover plate perimeter. Technological window is performed directly at the edge of bar lower shelf, and structural seam is removed. Cover plate is installed on internal side of wall, and the first seam is made along lower part of window, restoring continuity of structural seam. Then cover plate is welded along contour of technological window with provision of welded seam along perimeter on external side of bar vertical wall with overlapping of the first welded seam for 30-50%, and combined strengthening is realised, which consists of argon-arc treatment and further cold-work hardening of repair zone.
EFFECT: overhaul period of operation is increased due to increased fatigue strength of welded joint at cyclical and sign-changing loads that occur in process of trolley frames operation.
