FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine building and may be used in tool production for manufacture of higher strength grinding disks. Two mixtures of abrasive grit are prepared with moisturisers, binders or fillers. In the second mixture abrasive grit that has been previously size-ordered and have needle-plate shape are used, which have lower granularity compared to the first mixture and specified controlled shape coefficient. Mixtures, reinforcing fiberglass meshes and metal bushing near mounting hole of grinding disk are placed into die mold. The second mixture is placed into concentric zone near mounting hole, which is limited by maximum diameter of its wear. Grinding disk is molded, withdrawn from die mold and thermally processed.

EFFECT: rupture strength of grinding disk on bakelite binder is increased, which helps to reduce their wear and to increase grinding efficiency.
