SUBSTANCE: method includes following stages: availability of at least one well included into processed interval in underground formation; forming at least one break from at least one well which crosses at least one well; placement of electro-conducting material in break; contacting two electrodes with electro-conducting material; application of voltage to two electrodes for transmitting current through break in such way, that electric current runs through at least part of electro-conducting material and adequate heat is generated by electric specific resistance in part of electro-conducting material to facilitate pyrolysis of at least part of hard organic substance into extracted hydrocarbons.
EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of method.
