FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for increasing hydrocarbon production from clay shale bed containing carbonate material, comprising: (a) providing a treatment fluid, which contains water-soluble carbonate-dissolving agent with delayed release, dissolved in fluid for treatment, which contains an acid precursor selected from a group consisting of an ester and orthoester; (b) introducing a fluid for treating clay shales into the formation after the hydraulic fracturing process, wherein the treatment fluid does not contain particulate material or as part of the hydraulic fracturing process, wherein the treatment fluid does not contain particulate material or wherein the treatment fluid contains a proppant, but does not contain other particulate material; and (c) enabling hydrolysis of a water-soluble carbonate-dissolving agent with delayed release to form an organic acid to dissolve at least part of carbonate material in microcracks contained in clay shale strata. Invention also relates to a version of the method.

EFFECT: technical result is maximum increase in production of hydrocarbons from shale shales.
