FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: annular combustion chamber of gas-turbine engine comprises coaxially installed external and internal casings, annular diffuser installed at the inlet to combustion chamber, flame tube located in annular cavity between casings and made of external and internal shells with transverse belts of air supply openings. At the inlet to flame tube there is an annular front device having evenly and circumferentially installed row of auxiliary modules and concentrically installed beneath internal row of the main modules for preparation and supply of fuel and air mixture to combustion chamber. Every module is arranged with separate fuel nozzle along its longitudinal axis of accordingly main or auxiliary fuel systems and air axisymmetric duct installed around every fuel nozzle and divided longitudinally by annular elements into external and internal channels. For auxiliary module external channel consists of narrowing and expanding sections, and internal channel consists of narrowing section. For the main module external and internal channels consist of narrowing sections. At the inlet external channels for all modules and internal channels for the main modules have annular blade air swirlers, and internal channels of the auxiliary modules have annular air swirlers. External annular element of every module is installed on front device via flange bushing and is fixed to its fuel nozzle via internal annular element and annular swirlers. Combustion chamber additionally comprises external row of the main modules installed concentrically to row of the auxiliary modules. The main modules of external and internal rows that are adjacent in radius make together a separate pair of modules, which is installed symmetrically relative to row of the auxiliary modules. Pairs of the main modules are dispersed circumferentially with permanent angular pitch. Every auxiliary module is installed relative to neighboring radial pairs of the main modules with displacement by angle by half of this pitch.
EFFECT: creation of compact combustion chamber, provision of high efficiency of its operation and stability of burning, lower smoking level and emission of hazardous exhausts.
