SUBSTANCE: fuel nozzle relates to combustion chambers (CC) of gas turbine engines (GTE) and, in particular, to devices for preparation of fuel-air mixture (FAM) prior to its combustion in various CC of gas turbine engines. One of the most important tasks in the design of the CC is to reduce the level of emission of substances which pollute the atmosphere. When creating such low-emission CC problems are achieving efficient preliminary mixing of fuel with air and supply of fuel-air mixtures to the CC with production of combustion stability. This goal is achieved by the fact that in fuel injector of GTE containing main and pilot fuel supply pipelines, air supply pipeline, pilot and main fuel supply circuits are made in plane-parallel version based on jet elements. Effective reduction of hazardous substances and achievement of combustion completeness in the proposed fuel injector is achieved due to formation of intense high-frequency oscillations of fuel mixture in jet elements, as a result of which it becomes close to homogeneous composition and high turbulization of flow, as well as due to special arrangement of air flows, in which fuel mixture includes zones of opposite vortexes and "gas flaps".

EFFECT: in addition to effective reduction of harmful substances emission and achieving complete combustion in the proposed fuel injector, the fuel combustion zone is reduced and, as a result, the overall and weight characteristics of the combustion chamber and the engine as a whole are improved.
