FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: grenade casing represents thin-wall plastic enclosure housing, in its front part space, a crosswise thin-wall flexible partition resting on its surface all over the edges and flexibly deflected in launching direction by steel balls. The grenade bottom is made from plastic material and represents a cup with a drive collar formed on its surface. It accommodates an additional charge of explosive. The grenade fuse is fitted with no gaps inside the additional charge of explosive. In compliance with the proposed method, steel balls are filled in the casing space after casing crosswise partition is fitted in the casing front part and rests upon the casing surface. Then a glue composition is poured into the casing to get mixed with the said steel balls. A thin-wall metal enclosure is fitted into the casing using an arbor with the shape identical to that of the explosive charge. Resulted assembly is turned down so that the said arbor goes downward. The casing and the thin-wall enclosure are pressed to each other along the said arbor so that the steel balls flexibly deform the crosswise partition. Now the casing and the thin-wall partition with the arbor are turned relative to each other. After that both are solidified or the glue composition is cured.
EFFECT: simpler production, higher safety of shooting.
