FIELD: weapons and ammunition; non-lethal ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge contains two-chamber shell with propellent charge and a grenade, which is connected to the shell with a bond, destructed at firing. The grenade comprises plastic case, base detonating fuse, main charge and its fragmentation charge. The fragmentation charge is placed in the head of plastic case, before the main charge. The fragmentation charge is done as disc of outer diameter equal to internal diameter of case. Along the axis of main charge a detonation pulse transmitter is set, which transfers the detonation pulse from base detonating fuse to fragmentation charge. Transmitter is done from explosive. The diameter of transmitter is bigger than critical diameter for this explosive, but less than than fragmentation charge diameter. A safety stop is installed before fragmentation charge, which prevents destruction of barrier surface, which triggers the grenade. The stop is done from significantly less firm material, than the barrier.

EFFECT: decrease of antipersonnel, high-explosive and acoustic exposure on people.
