FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: scope of application: for determination of erosion resistance of solid micro- and nanoobjects at action of cavitation. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that one face of the test object is strengthened; after that, cavitation action is performed in a sealed chamber with liquid at excess hydrostatic pressure; the test object is treated by a hydroacoustic flow at density of power of ultrasonic radiation, which is sufficient for the test specimen to be in a suspended state; erosion resistance is assessed as per state of surface relief, its geometrical and volumetric parameters in comparison to the initial state of the object.
EFFECT: providing a possibility of full and objective assessment of erosion resistance of solid micro- and nanoobjects.
