FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sea water analysis for saltiness and density is ensured by in-situ water temperature measurement on the horizon of underwater vehicle at specified depth. Acoustic radiation is excited. And sound velocity of received acoustic radiation is measured directly with pulse-cycle sound velocimeter. Sound velocity measured directly measured at specified depth and temperature are applied to calculate sea water saltiness and density by related mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of sea water testing saltiness and density.
