FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: radar method based on phased-array antenna (PAA) is offered with isotropic transmitting antenna continuously radiating thus generating in PAA reception area time- and space-continuous electromagnetic field of pulses reflected from various targets, radiated with isotropic transmitting antenna and received with PAA. Additionally, in receiving isotropic transmitting antenna enables PAA coverage scanning continuous and synchronised with continuous radiation of linear-frequency modulated pulse (LFM pulse) thus ensuring directional filtering and range gating of the targets, also with possibility for simultaneous increase in target radar speed, frequency and resolution regardless of range and solid coverage angle simultaneously increasing the latter.

EFFECT: higher radar speed, frequency and resolution.
