FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: incident electromagnetic wave is received by two compensating antennas and N main antenna radiators. Amplitude and phase of received signal of the first compensating antenna are converted so that with non-interference, amplitude and phase of converted signal are equal to that of signal received with the second compensating antenna. The specified signals are subtracted thus forming output compensating signal. Output signals of N main antenna radiators are added to weight factors thus forming converted signal of main antenna. Amplitude and phase of output compensating signal are converted. Then output compensating signal is subtracted from converted signal of main antenna thus output signal of multichannel antenna system.

EFFECT: higher received noise-to-signal ratio due to noise suppression of certain receiver direction.
