FIELD: antenna engineering; radio communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method that can be used in radio communication systems to receive circular-polarization electromagnetic waves under impact of linear-polarization deliberate and unintended interferences, among them being those similar to useful-signal spectrum, includes reception of circular-polarization electromagnetic wave by means of biorthogonal antenna systems relatively turned through 45°; conversion of signals received and generation of four reference signals around them proportional in pairs to tangential components of electromagnetic field intensity; timing of nine reference-signal readings within time of 3T/8 in time intervals of T/8, where T is carrier-wave period; generation of ten differential signals , where i = 1, 2, …,10, found by subtracting readings of two reference signals whose amplitudes are equal in absence of interference; detection of four groups of hypothetical implementations of interference signal for angles , and between tangential components of interference and leading reference signals; estimation of most reliable hypothesis for reliability and its selection; generation of four compensating signals basing on the latter and their subtraction from reference signals; phasing of corrected signals obtained in the process in pairs and between pairs; generation of output signal basing on addition of signals upon their phasing out.
EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity due to suppressing noise, including that similar in spectrum to useful signal in wide sector of angles.
