FIELD: physics, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to antenna engineering and may be used in radio engineering communication systems in reception of electromagnet wave by antenna array with tapered amplitude under action of noises. Method consists in reception of electromagnet wave and transformation of signals and noises at outputs of M radiators of antenna array comprising two subarrays with number of radiators M1 and M2, where M1+ M2=M. Signal at the outputs of each radiator is divided in two. Signals from the first outputs are summed with weight coefficients that correspond to selected tapered amplitude, creating signal of the main channel of antenna array. Signals from the second outputs are summed as signals of subarrays, creating two compensation signals, compensation signals are summed with weight coefficients, which provide for exclusion of signal component in compensation signal, and close time dependencies of noise component in the main and compensation signals, creating signal of compensation channel.
EFFECT: higher ratio signal/noise in reception due to coherent compensation of noises in wide sector of angles.
